Workforce Honors

New England Employee Benefits Council’s (NEEBC) Best Benefit Practice Award in recognition of NHP’s employee engagement program, “bFIT”, which seeks to empower employees at all levels of the organization on a variety of important initiatives. (2016)

Boston CIO Leadership Association’s 2016 CIO of the Year Award in the nonprofit category presented to NHP CIO and VP of Operations, Marilyn Daly, in recognition of NHP’s successful use of technology to create a high-quality experience for customers and partners. (2016)

Whittier Street Health Center’s 2014 Men’s Health Champion Award presented to
NHP CMO Dr. Paul Mendis in recognition of outstanding leadership in promoting men’s

Quality of Health Care Services

Ranked in top 10% of insurers surveyed nationwide and scored 4.5 out of 5 in both its Medicaid and commercial lines of business in the country by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). *(2016-2017)

Ranked in top 15% of commercial health plans nationwide out of 507 plans evaluated and ranked number three of the top five Medicaid health plans in the country by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). *(2014-2015)

The Boston Ad Club’s Rosoff Award for Marketing to a Diverse Audience for its innovative communications campaign promoting the importance of mammography screenings to Black and African-American women. (2011)
